Since
my last "new" Sky Above version tanked a few weeks
ago, I'm putting up a minimum of information on the Version
3.0, if I may call it that. For now it will be limited to
listings of this year's trips. More

19-27 June
Georgian Bay, Britt to
Bustard Islands
Limit: 9 participants

This nine-day trip will begin and end in Britt, near
Byng Inlet. Subject, as always, to weather conditions, we will
visit Champlain Island, the Scott and MacGregor Islands and the
wonderful Bustards, with their seemingly endless sheletered
channels and inlets.
As always on Georgian Bay trips, I avoid dagverous
conditions. Paddlers must still be aware that big waves may have
to be negotiated at times. Each canoe must have at least one
strong paddler.
15-20 August
Georgian Bay, Franklin,
McCoy and nearby Islands
Limit: 9
participants
Deposit: $50
To me, the region encompassing
Franklin Island, the McCoy Islands and the Minks is the heart and
soul of the canoeists Georgian Bay. This trip will allow us to
wander about them as fancy (and the weather) dictate.
As always on Georgian Bay trips, I avoid dagverous
conditions. Paddlers must still be aware that big waves may have
to be negotiated at times. Each canoe must have at least one
strong paddler.
